I'm not comfortable giving away my real location, I just want to see undemolished locations. Is that ok or do I need something else?

Do you mean your home town residence or some place you have explored. Who did you "give it out" too?

As a basic member we prefer you do not give real location names or GPS coordinates in your publically / viewable and searchable posts.

As far as where you live that's your decision.

I have no problem giving out false information to the outside world, and to some extent in the forums too, but if it's in the database it's best to either give accurate information or not give it at all, though I guess if you're a basic member that won't be a problem.

Yeah, the title makes it sound like he gave a fake abandoned location. But, it sounds more like his personal address when he says

Maybe, I took it to mean he didn't want to share location details on "his" abandonment.

I don't think there is any rule about disclosing one's location in the world on UER, though it would go toward full membership considerations at some point.

Aa I didn't think about that. I see what you mean. Guess only way to know is for Gamewolf66 to answer. Or, we may never know.....
