I wanted to see the tallest building on campus in a nearby city. It took a while to figure out *how* to get to the tower, there is a building annexed to the tower that connects on one floor (maybe more, I asked for directions).

wrong building, no roof access

got into the tower building, now to find staircase

weirdly narrow stair case. There's another on the other side and they're separated by a giant gap. Any idea what this is about? Former elevator shaft maybe?

Looking through the grate:

Roof access locked but there's a sad "server room" by the roof entrance

There's a conference room at the top. All doors to it are locked unless you come through the elevator. Seems like a hazard. The doors are locked from both sides.

Guess I'll take the elevator

Room at the top

Cool view

I went back with some friends and checked out the sub basement. It turns out that weird space with the grates is a 13 story Foucault pendulum. Pretty cool.
