Fall Travels

After a couple occurrences during a spring trip resulted in me choosing to take the summer off, contemplating a retirement or semi retirement from the hobby. Cooler weather and some time off from work allowed me to visit some more known sights on my "list". Learning from my experiences will allow me to continue to create and enjoy once again. I began my trip to say my final good byes to rolling acres, then to see restoration begin on a church I visited the last two years in Pittsburgh. Then we where off to two locations which where visited by far to many who have paint and hammers in hand.......

I like how you caught the good and the bad of that church. The stained glass colors are excellent (can't believe those haven't been smashed). The "There Is No God"... how clever to spray right in the central aisle. Looks like they got the starting of it wrong the first time. Yup, that there-their-they're thing can be a real challenge, especially when you're a skid!

Makes me feel bad knowing that not long ago, those trains didn't have horrible graffiti all over them. Blame the internet.

Nice set though. Looks like you had fun!

The church I was most disappointed with the amount of vandalism, before I entered I said to my wife "its trashed" as I opened the door. (LOL, I had to look up what "skid" is in the urban dictionary.) Both of the featured locations I was disappointed of the lack of respect, most of the damage was recent. And all the Instagram addresses sprayed all over? Come on now, I had to edit the morgue and remove a Instagram address from my pictures.

Yup, those trains got trashed quick, I think some one broke off a hand rail then smashed everything the could in a hour. Really sad, blame the law less one too.

****Thank you all for the kind comments and encouragement****

LOL, didn't think of that one. I think the irrigation bag is my creepiest picture I have taken to date. As you look in the back ground you can see a exam chair stirrup!
