Sometimes you drive by something you didn't know was there, and you just have to stop and take a closer look. This was one of those things.

Pretty good for a random stop!! Love the B&W doorknob shot!

Any idea what this was? From the outside, and many of the interior shots, it looks industrial or like something you would see in a business park. But the stage doesn't really fit with that.

Thanks .

It's actually an art deco style school.

All the individual classroom walls have been fairly neatly busted through, leaving one long room. You can see in 4 and 5 where some walls used to be, with the exposed blocks, as well as pipes and electrical outlets sticking out of the ground. You can also see what was once a chalkboard in 7.

Great find. My personal favorite is the doorknob- I'm partial to both up close and B&W shots myself, and you captures both aspects perfectly in that one.

Very unique architecture on that part of the building! I absolutely love art deco. It's a shame the inside is so gutted, would have loved to see it when it was still intact.

I absolutely love the shadows and detail the lighting creates in all of your photos! I also can't take my eyes away from the shot of the empty window with the vines climbing around it.

Yeah it is a shame. I've been unable to find anything on the internet about this place before it was abandoned. I was glad that it was pretty free of human garbage and litter on the inside though.

I love that shot of the stage with the ragged curtains. Do you have any idea what the place was before it was abandoned?
