~ Ghostly Autumn Silence ~

I did remember that my last (and only) visit to this abandoned farm was at last spring. Of course I did remember wrong and that visit did happen at February! Whole summer I did think that I should return but... because back then house was locked and really hard car photographing fever did hit me at autumn, I didn't return not before than at this week.

First I did get there at cold, gray morning. At that trip I did notice that now house's door were open. Of course I did get inside but... you know, quite gloomy autumn morning, just small amount of light from gray sky... standing in dark vestibule looking even darker kitchen... and some kind of knock sound from upstairs (stairs were at my left side). I did force myself check downstairs and even photograph bit, but still it was quite quick visit. Have to mention that this place is hidden so well that you have to KNOW it to find it... or do quite precise work with maps and have really open mind.

But I know my head, and after just one day between I did have to return there at rainy morning. So these photos are from two different morning.

Not Only Buildings and Vehicles Fade Into Oblivion:

Old Work Horse (First In Row):

Green'n Chrome:

Signs on the Windshield:

Broken Corolla:

Something Red:

Threatened by Scania Truck:

Ghostrace (Against time):

Finally at the Yard:

Glasses'n Plates:

Still Blooming (Plastic Flowers Never Die):

Ghostly Autumn Silence:

Back to '70s:

Tea Time Blues:

Colorful Past:

Tortured in the Attic:

And then to traditional off-topic-bonus-picture. It was taken 20.10.2016 at Torronsuo national park. Cold, beautiful morning with as much sunlight as you can in October get when weather is fine:

That's it, and now on the road to next adventures.

Love the old Massey Ferguson Tractor in the weeds. The way you shot Against Time has me feeling like I'm sitting inside that car looking out myself. Ghostly Autumn Silence is quite mesmerizing and my fave. The Off Topic is a beauty with rays of sunlight visible in photo. Rockin it as usual WH

You really have a amazing eye for the small details, especially inside the homes. So many of the shots you take I feel most photographers would never think to take.

Love Ghostrace and Glasses n' Plates. The cobweb filled car interiors are just phenomenal!

Your composition is just beautiful. I absolutely adore the closeup shots. The bright colors and the framing really inspire me to get back out to exploring this fall.

Thank you very much! ^^ I almost could promise too that next weekend I will show something pretty impressive stuff - I did return after 2 or 3 years to that amazing mansion with quite dark past and not only once, but twice! I would release them today but I have no time, it's halloween party time today...

Thank you very much. Details are often that most impressive thing for me (and I'm really bad when taking wider photos, especially at outside). And cobwebs in old, abandoned cars... at this autumn I've really find them, that beautiful, strange mood that they give to photos. Somewhat arachnophobic person have fallen love with cobwebs.

Thank you very much. I've always tought that if photo gives that "I want to get do this too" feel... it is best thing that photo can do. Enjoy your trips.

My own favorite too from this set. I did know immediately at my first trip (when house still were locked) when I did see those flowers from outside that there would be photo waiting... and from inside it were so much better than I did imagine. One of those "I'm so glad that I did see this view" moments.

Awesome job - I really like the last shot and the ones inside the house in particular.

I really love "Glass and Plates" and "Ghostly Autumn Silence." You really made the blowout from the windows work there, and it actually makes it look even cooler.

"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there.
