If you want to see some real Zach Snyder-level carnage and don't mind the Korean narration, get a load of this:
Anyway, we had a good idea where this was done, on the edge of town.
0. The earthquake was felt in Seoul by some, but caused no damage. Except to my cat's circus tent. He looks devastated.
1. Here's one of the buildings that was collapsed for the drill. Judging by the spraypaint they were marking where the gas pipeline was.
2. A lot of the landscaping has been stripped away, except for some of the larger trees.
3. Another collapsed building.
4. Plus some of the fire damage as seen in the second video.
5.
6. Anyway, we returned in the daytime on a rainy Sunday.
7. No word is more romantic than love.
8. It's a pretty large area with 68 buildings according to the news report.
9. This also seems to be from the earthquake drill. It says "crack entry X" followed by the building number, rescue operations, and date.
10. I looked back over my shoulder, and when I turned around I discovered that the debris I was approaching was bodyparts. I hyperventilated for about half a minute.
11. They used regular store mannequins.
12.
13.
14. I got some rain on my lens filter doing this, but it was worth it.
15.
16. Park Gyeong-ju, 37 years old.
17. Collapsed building in the daytime.
18.
19.
20.
21.
22.
23.
24. It's not rooftopping if the roof is on ground level.
25. Abandoned pills.
26. In an abandoned doctor's office.
27.
28. After, we went out for dinner at Cafe Bill Cosby.
29. Which was a surprisingly comfortable and affordable place.

Posted by MisUnderstood! Dummies/Mannequins
Oddly, we had a discussion about this at work before I visited. Our newspaper was running photo captions referring to the bodies as "mannequins," but we thought it sounded weird so we changed it to "dummies." Then I saw for myself, they used goddamn mannequins.
