A beautiful and heavily decayed church in a small Belgian town. More than 25 years ago it was damaged by a small earthquake and closed. Nowadays it's still rotting away on the town square.

Insanely awesome. The green creeping up the walls and the collection of statues in the back room are really something. I can't imagine such a richly built church like this not having pews. Someone must have set those chairs out just for some photography. And it's so effective!... gives the eerie sense of a small cult using the remains of the church for worship.

@ Ground State, yesterday I found some historic photos of this church and it was actually filled with these chairs in stead of pews! In the beginning they stood stacked in that small room with the statues but at some point someone put them back in the nave.
