Here're some pictures that I took of the old ruins near the Franklin Park zoo. I'm not a photographer, so any aesthetic suggestions would be welcomed (I need the help). I. These are unidentified. The old bear cages are deeper in the park, so I don't think I know what these are. However, looking at the structure in Image V, I think that this could have been an entrance area to something larger. Thoughts?



II. This was taken a short way from Image I, uphill and a little east, if I remember correctly. Not sure what part it might have been; this was more a 'me trying to be artsy' than 'me trying to be intelligent' type of photograph.



III. Same as Image II, in a different layout. Not sure which I liked better, so I put both up.



IV. Old set of stairs in the same grouping as Images I, II, and III. Probably part of the same structure, though now I think it not unlikely that they led up to the top of a wall in order to look DOWN into the pit.



V. Stone archway, through which are most of the other ruins depicted in this post.



VI. Another artsy photo. This is the area near the ruins, and will serve as a sign to anyone trying to find them themselves.
