Time to crawl out

Hi everyone! I live in the middle of corn fields in MN and have been exploring for a few years now. I've been creeping on here for a little while and trying to get a feel for the site but I'm not much of a computer person. I'm really just looking for people to explore with, I would love to go to the cities and see some new places and have people come check out some spots I have here. I have been to a couple places in the cities and loved it but I'm not comfortable going alone or with people that are as green as me haha. I love mapping and doing the work just need friends to show me the way.

All the other lurking new people.....if you're at all unsure about how to introduce yourself....this guy sets a good example.

Welcome.

Which corn fields are you nearest? What kind of locations do you have near you?

The lurkers... at least this one now has a voice.
If you've been exploring a couple years why are you still green?
Best way to approach this site is to read as much of it as you can. Learn from others mistakes and successes both in the field and online.

Then explore, take some pics and post em here. Including the site's history sometimes makes for a better thread. This site is easy as pie, but some just never seem to get it.

The Rookies section is another place where you can post and learn. Try to create meaningful posts and threads when you do post.

I see myself as green since I haven't done to much, there isn't much out here unlike in the cities. You spend a couple months exploring in the cities and you have found more then I have in the yrs I have here haha. Thanks for the advice, I've been reading and learning (lurking) as often as I can now I just want to meet up with some people and check places out. I'm in the Western MN cornfields Atawter,MN
I've found... Really small drains, old brewery, abandoned mills and farms, 1 cave, and a high security plant that I haven't hit yet still researching. Mostly abandoned farms and building though.

Hello! No problem w/ being 'green' as we were all that way at one time. My older cousin took me for my first UE run when I was 13 or 14 years old. My first thought was, "Wow, we can actually go IN these old houses ?? I've LOOKED at them but I never thought we could, you know, like, go IN them!!" Once I started, there was no stopping me!

Plenty here explore abandoned houses and farms almost exclusively. The key to this site is participating in a meaningful way.

Thanks for being so welcoming! On another note, I found a location that is going to be very hard to get past security but it needs to be explored. I've done all the research possible and have been sitting waiting on this location but I'm not advanced enough to do it on my own. My question is continue waiting until I meet more people or say fuck it and hope for the best? They have plans on reopening it for a museum not sure when but the city has been starting plans.

Hopefully it's alright that I post this, I've been looking to see if anyone else on here has ran into this dilemma but seems most people just go for it.

Ummm... How about NO.

Let's not go advocating picking locks at actively guarded locations.

It would be a mistake to assume that means you may have never even conceived of have been used to access particular areas of interest, locally and abroad.

Clock is wise, he knows this.

He is also wise enough to understand the sorts of things you discuss publicly (and make no mistake, the internet is public, where it matters) and the things that you discuss face to face.

If you've settled on a safeword, you're free to do whatever you like in person with consenting adults. Clock's saying "Let's not get all silly on the intarwub," is all.

I'm having a real hard time thinking of one site that's worth a felony conviction.
Sooner or latter the odds will catch up with if you do it long enough.
A misdemeanor charge is bad enough; keep being arrested survivable legally and financially.
Learn to stack the odds on your side for a worst case out of the blue, cluster fuck.
-or-
Don't. I wuv the I got busted threads
