The Police Headquarters

In the middle of a busy German city stands this old police headquarters. On a hot sunny day we climbed over fences and loads of razor wire under the eyes of too many commuters. We arrived at the building without trouble but it appeared to be sealed completely. I split from the group to make the search more effective and after a while I spotted a narrow broken window. The downside was that it had a large pit filled with razor wire in front of it. Probably the people sealing the building even thought "nah, we don't need to board this one up, they can't go in that way". But I wasn't going to give up after the obstacles we had already taken. I called my buddies to come over to help me in case I would get stuck or fall into the razor wire shredder of death. I climbed over the pit and squeezed myself through the window, one of the more agile guys of the group decided to follow. We got some cuts from remaining bits of glass in the window frame but actually made it inside! Then we only needed to open a normal window from the inside to let the rest in. It turned out that all the windows which we were able to open had a similar razor wire pit in front of them but eventually we managed to get everyone inside safely. Even inside there was razor wire put on the staircases but when we had finally found the beautiful entrance hall we knew it was worth all the trouble. A memorable explore. The challenging ones are the most fun!

Wow, those windows! Those stairs! Really glad you went to the trouble to get in, looks like it was well worth it.

Thanks all!

@Freaktography
That's a good point, I guess I just didn't find it photogenic. My friends did take some cellphone pics though:

These pictures are incredible. I love the Glass, the beautiful glass contrasting with the building decay is marvelous. You're totally right. The places that are the hardest are really the most fun once you get inside, it almost feels like a world of your own. Really amazing work, keep it up!

What a gorgeous building!! Totally worth the effort to get inside! The razor wire seems a bit over the top. The only time I have ran into much of that was at a abandoned prison, but obviously that was there before it went vacant.

Excellent shots!!

Absolutely Beautiful set. That architecture is incredible. I love the designs in the glass doorway and the pillars.
