A few days ago, I was doing one of my many cross state drives (I drive from LA to SF for work often). I stopped for gas in a small town on I-5 and wandered around to stretch my legs. While I wandered, I stumbled onto an abandoned area that appeared to have previously been a campsite and a building associated with the camp. Pretty much the easiest explore possible since there was no fence, no signage warning off trespassers or anything. Sadly I didn't get more pictures since I only had my phone and my battery was low.

This is the part visible from the gas station I was at. My interest obviously peaked, I explored further

There's no gate or anything stopping you from walking up to the place. It's pretty much wide open, and very cool.

There's been travelers here before clearly

Pool!

Inside is trashed as one would expect

I didn't venture inside further because I had a tight schedule to meet this day sadly.

Outside shows the campgrounds that once where here

This is a great place for a photo shoot or short film. I plan on returning at some point
