Another Lesson in Complete and Utter Destruction < on 9/3/2016 2:32 PM > | Reply with Quote
Going back a few weeks to my last real successful day out, the last location we visited was on the way home from doing other much better locations.
This factory once manufactured uPVC moulded plastic products like guttering and drainpipes, it was deemed surplus to requirements a few years ago and the company decided to close this particular plant.
After closure, the place has been absolutely and totally destroyed. Literally everything that could be broken has been broken, chucked around, smashed up or graffitied. The only thing it hasn't been is on fire but it can only be a matter of time. The one saving grace was a really rather nice staircase in the main lobby area which amidst the sea of destruction made a nice focal point.
Me and my friend had a quick half hour run around here before deciding we'd had enough and headed home.

Always a shame when places get destroyed to that extent. Love that first photo.
