Sketch Room! (Bat caves, briefing rooms and where you store your urbexing gear)

Hey, this is my first post here after lurking on and off for a long time haha!

Anyways, me and my good friend (and roommate) set aside a vacant, very grimy, bathroom in the basement of our college house as a so called "sketch room". We have our respirators, bags, equipment, urbex clothes all on the walls very much like a super hero's layer. There's also a map of the drain system on the wall that we obtained from an undisclosed source that has been annotated with pins and thread of where we've ventured. So in addition to a equipment room it doubles as a briefing and mapping room!

So do other urbexers here have their own equipment room or designated urbexing room?

I'll upload pics of the sketch room when I'm back at school soon!

My home office is my planning and storage area. Photos, photo gear and maps and gear bag.
I even have a mannequin in the corner with my post-apoc outfit on it ready to go. It weirds my customers out.

That's sweet!!! The outfit looks rad!
We've been trying to track down some mannequins too but they're a little pricey for college students

Craiglist worked for me. Nothing like buying naked people forms in a gas station parking lot. Especially when I bought the female one for my wife's outfit.

All of my exploring gear fits in my backpack, and that's where it stays until I have plans to go out. My bedroom at the house I grew up in still has all kinds of my overbrook crap posted up on the walls though. But my mom kind of wants all my crap out of there so I'll have to set something up in my apartment soon.

What do you normally take with you? All the crap I have could probably be stored in a backpack too... I just think the atheistic of having a whole room is neat

Camera and tripod, respirator, flashlight & backup flashlight, batteries, and a water bottle is my usual pack.
