After two years, I finally decided to return to the first location I ever explored. Things had changed quite a bit since my original visit- the building had been mostly emptied, and a fire had scoured it around six months back.

This was also the first exploration since my first where I was not going solo. I invited two friends who expressed an interest in exploring, though this was their first exploration.

These photos are also my first attempts at utilizing photo editing software. All of the photos I've posted up until now have been unedited originals, but these have been touched up a bit for quality and artistic value.

1. Heavy Load

2. Creeping Like Time

3. Plank Warp

4. Bilingual Communication

5. Contacts List

Despite the loss of the clutter, this site has remained relatively intact over the last two years, though it won't for much longer. The city is currently attempting to find a contractor to renovate it into a low- income housing facility, so it won't stay like this forever.

It was nice being able to return to the location that introduced me to urban exploration, and to have the privileged of introducing some friends to it as well.

Good shit, bro.

More photos, please.

Thanks Ed! Sorry it took me a day or two to respond, I had some trouble finding the time to touch up more photos for posting. Now, these I experimented with using saturation and a bit of contrast, so any feedback would be welcome since editing photos is a new experience for me. I tried to keep it looking natural, while still making it look a bit better.

Anyway, let it never be said that OP doesn't deliver.

1. Not OSA Compliant.

2. Just a Single Brick in the Wall

An interesting aspect of this picture is the peeling paint- that's actually due to heat. The base of this wall was charred from a fire that was set about six months back, and fire damage was still visible in some places.

Now, the previous two photos were from my most recent exploration at this site. These next two, however, are about two and one years old, respectively, though I never posted them.

3. Downward Slope to Decay

4. Appearances Aren't Always Deceiving
