Here are a few photos from a place I frequent often in my home town. Nothing like having a giant abandoned state school within a 2 mile walk. I like to visit a few times a week.

This is awesome! I'd love to live so close to something like that. Great photos too. I like the bleak and faded look. I especially like the third photo, looking up through the caved in floor and roof. It looks like something out of the Uncharted games

Thank you for the compliment. I barley touched these photos except for some slight adjustments in Lightroom. Too much adjustment on a photo doesn't feel right and takes too long. I'd rather just go back and take the photo again. One of the flashlights I use cast a dim shadow and I like to bounce it off the ceiling to get the gloomy effect. I have discovered how to tone down the flash with the right adjustments and by changing the temperature a little. A lot of times I'm photographing in almost pitch black areas. Only some of the buildings still have lights on. The others were just the way they are. The unfortunate part is some of my photos have too much noise to be sold as prints. I need a really good camera for shooting in the dark and a good program to clean up the noise. Adobe has a lot of limitations.

I love number three. It's a great shot composition and color wise, but more so it captures so well the kind of space we all love and embrace. It carries a sense of wonder. The rest were not as evocative for me.

2 and 3 are great. I recently had the same problem that 3 has, go into lightroom and back off the purple and blue channels to get rid of the distracting blowout purple halos.

You do a great job setting the mood of the locations. I also really like how you show the viewer an interesting angle that showecases the space in front of the camera.

Thank you for the compliments and suggestions! Now I know what exactly was bothering me about three. I'm pretty good with lightroom now so that shouldn't be so hard. I think I will just shoot the photo again with my new DSLR camera and it should come out more detailed an better. In fact I like the results of my new camera so much I think I will do all my photos again.

Woow.. It looks like a place from a horror movie.
It looks like an awesome spot to explore. And the flicks are pretty cool.
