I'm normally a Pacific Southwest lurker/poster, but a visit back to the Midwest left me hungry for some exploration. Here's what I found.

Thanks much for posting. These are some awesome photos and, without giving away any locations, I do believe this is the place where I saw a very cool concert, many, many years ago.

Photo in the lounge: I see OP!

Shameful that taxpayers get bamboozled to support shit like this and then it is left to fall apart. Embarrassing.

You betcha

Ahh this brings me back... any word on when the Demo is supposed to happen? I heard it was going to be this spring, but obviously that has yet to occur. nice set of photos though, security stopped us the first time around so we were never able to make it in for the day shots, but got 1 or 2 decent night shots after coming right back!

Thanks all.

No idea on when renovations will happen. I was only visiting the area and when I started researching the stadium, it wasn't even clear it would be there when I arrived. Sure enough, it was still there and there was a giant tent being dismantled in the parking lot. I had heard they were doing drive-in movies in the lot as well.

That's awesome. I love the larger things that people post. Like big buildings and stadiums because its hard to think that they can go forgotten.

I heard the coppers were getting aggressive with ticketing ever since the demo announcement came through. I was there sometime last fall before the announcement so I had no problems. Getting in was a bit tricky but we ended up finding a couple POEs after we were inside for a while. Goes to show, there's always a way. You run into any trouble?
