Yup! I didn't have the patience to try one of the crackers, unfortunately. It was so damn hot up there.

I wasn't adventurous enough to try anything either. And yeah, it was way too hot. Being hurried by the heat probably contributed to my pictures up there being so crappy.

There is a small mountain of both full water barrels and crackers. Look harder! Hehe.

These are great shot! I haven't had time to get to Gary, but seen tons of pics. Your shots are great and not the standard stuff, very original.

The school with the body really sketched me as well out when I visited post-mortem. Definitely just a psychological thing though. I think that the no trespassing signs were added around that time...At last visit everything facing the street front was boarded up, too, likely to give an illusion of security. Nice try though guys because every other side of the building had giant gaping holes anyone could waltz in.

To anyone horrified at the prospect of exploring Gary: just do it in the day. It's totally fine, just don't be visible inside the bandos and don't look paranoid walking around on the streets. I've only been heckled one time in maybe two dozen visits.
