Spend the night in an abandoned place: Check! We can cross off that on our bucket lists.

On our latest urbex road trip we came across a ghost town. People were resettled like ten years ago because of a surface mine next to it. It’s a surreal place! Most of the town was knocked down, but a small part was still there. While walking along the ruins you could get a pretty good impression of how people used to work and live here. However, we decided to spend the night in the ghost town, so we build our camp in the old glassworks building.
But maybe it was kind of reckless… By the time we wanted to go to sleep we heard scrap thieves arriving and dismantling something. Half an hour later they left and we were able to sleep - only to get wake a bit later - by something that ambushed our camp. A stray cat! Scared the hell out of us… Lil’ fucker. We survived the night anyway.

Oh, yes! The next day we met the cat again and we fed it with our leftovers (cow’s milk and barbecue cheese) and got besties and lived happily ever after, or something like that.
