What a time capsule!! Amazing find!! Any idea how long this house has sat vacant? Looks straight out of the 50s!

Am I the only one that finds it kind of funny that this whole house looks like one big huge time capsule, except in pic #3 there is one of those newer spiral light bulbs on the couch?! Kind of odd..

Awesome set though!! I hope to one day find a time capsule of my own!

Lovely!

Enjoyed the full gallery on Flickr. I would have loved to sit there and look through their wedding album!

I develop an emotional response to these types of postings.

I see the pictures of the cat with the collar next to them on the shelf and envision a person growing old by themselves only kept company by an aging cat.

I see baskets of toys that are kept for the few cherished visits of the grand kids.

I see cake dishes that once carried delicacies made with love to friends, family, maybe church functions.

Deck of cards on the table and one "clean" area, passing the lonely times with solitaire?

I can't help but feel a sadness when looking at these photos.

In reality whoever lived there could have been a total jerk face too.

Anyhow! Loved all the pics!

Amazing find and terrific pics! I love the old furniture in pic 3 and the lovely staircase in pic 4. What an awesome old house. Any history?

Thanks, guys! ...this was most definitely a favorite spot. There was just...SO MUCH STUFF.

The cat thing was...pretty sad. It was like a little shrine to him, even his flea collar and Rabies tag. There was another room that also had a photo or two of the same cat. Poor fella was definitely loved.

Amazing post, made even more so by the pristine, vandalism-free nature of the place. Do you think you were the first urban explorer to discover / photograph this location? If so, and if you're willing to disclose, let's hear about the discovery of the place!

One of the first few in, if not one of three only so far, without a doubt. This place is...hella known in the state it's in. To avoid swarms of undesirables to this gem, I avoided posting exteriors because that will give the location up for sure.

I love this gallery, but yes...I had noticed the light bulb too. There's another one in a lamp in a different photo...very curious indeed! Definitely a very cool location.

damn tiffers you have really uped your game!!!

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time.
