If you live near the wrightstown/greenbay area, you might know what I'm talking about when I say "eyesore" on 41south, there is an old creepy looking house right on the edge of the highway. the people got paid big bucks to move out of it. there are also a bunch more houses behind further into the woods. that's a story for another time though. I recently had one of the most thrilling adventures of my life in that house. I've driven past that house so many times and I've always wanted to go in since I was a kid. recently me and 2 other friends decisded to go and check it out... at the time I had a knife; to fend off demons and ghosts, a bushne*** tatcial rechargable 1200 lumen flashlight, some food; in case i get lost or hungry...or both. i didn't have a breathing mask, witch i regret and recommend. this was all stored in a backpack. this was one of my first more serious adventures. my spelling isn't the best but that's ok because it's a good story. i can't upload the images because there not working for some reason.

when we got to this creepy house just sitting on the side of the highway, my friends decisdeed not to go in. they stood by the road until I cleared and OK the house of the devil and shit haha. they called me pussy and stuff because i wouldn't go in without them. but i wanted to be brave so i went in. i was kind of scared to go in, but i was more thrilled that anything. so since they wont go in and there calling me "pussy" i decided fine, once i get in there i'll gain that much more respect. i thought if i was gonna die in that house, i might as well say my goodbyes, so i called them all cocky pussies and flipped them off haha. i looked at the house, gulped, and started walking down the dirt road. that's when shit went down hill. so before i walked in the side enterence near a soaring billbored that illuminated the whole house, i noticed that there was a bike lying in the grass. the grass was pressed down and not growing around it so it seemed strangly new. so i was sort of expecting a homeless person. it's ok because i had food on me and the good part of me wanted to help this person. anyway i walk in and you know in a horror movie, typically the victom calls out "HELLO!" IS ANYONE THERE!! well that was me, calling out to anyone with an ax and bad intentions. my first thought was this is F---- Hollywood yo. I'm in the movies. so i tatically went around corners through out the first floor of the house and cleared the first floor. there was a lot of garbage and old couches. first floor cleared like a boss. I was acualy enjoying myself, this was one of my first urban exploring adventures.

i saw the stairs, my heart all of a sudden was a lot louder, thud thud, thud thud, i didn't feel as bad ass as i recently did. the basements like a whole new ball game. the stairs didn't even feel safe. my friends where there, i wanted to impress them, so of course i did the unlogical thing and went down stairs. of course i was expecting to find some dead bodies and torture devices and some insane ax murderer, my expectations weren't quit accurate though as i just found some 1990's era misculanouse household appliences and a weird amount of chrismas trees. like we have one in our house, this house probly had like...6. anyway so no signs of anyone getting murdered, alright off to a great start, i walk upstairs and turn the corner and walk to the second floor, i turn the corner and i was just about at the top when i saw a bloody hand print... i don't really remember what was going through my head. i think it was disbeif and couriousity. it looked real, aged blood is not red... no it's brown and; forgive me for my spelling; coagulated? i have pictures of it too. i was prepared for the worst, going thorugh the hallway i had sometime to think, i just thoguht to myself that theres nothing to be scared of. my friends are waiting for me outside. i walked into the room straight ahead and my god this was strange. there was a secrete room that had no door to it, the only way i found it was a hole in the wall that looked like people smashed. in it was about a 100 cubic foot room with beer cans and leftover wrappers. it looked aged so i wasn't really scared and i wasn't thinking about the bloody handprint so i was content and calm at this point. ok so i turned around to get out and my jaw dropped when i looked at the wall adjacent to me and there was blood everywhere. splattered, and dripping. aged, and probly fake though I don't know., it was probly just a prank. i saw that there was a lot of quotes from the bible too written in black. like "god killed his only son for the sins of... something.. i can't remember there was a lot of weird writing graffiti like that. ok so i walk into down the hallway to the bathroom just checking for bodies, or anything that would make a good story. skimming down the hallway. it seemed clear. so i flashed my light outside the window on the otherside so i wouldn't attract any unwanted attention. that was the signal for the coast is clear, you can quite being babies and come in the house now; after you made me go in....BY MYSELF! i am still mad to this day that they made me go in by myself.

right when i thought things couldn't get weirder they did. i forgot to check one last room, i saw some wrappers and cans of food, i was a little worried but i didn't think much of it, my friends are downstairs checking out the first floor so that made me feel a little more secure. i didn't want to show them the blood yet because i had to check out this last room. i am not lying when i say this because all of this is true. i walked into the room and thorugh a whole in the wall overlooking the closet i saw a homesless man. i think he was asleep but there was nothing going through my brain exept I'm out. i can't do this. i booked and ran out as my friends tagged behind me. they didn't ask anything because they were scared because i was scared. we finally got to the road but it seemed to take forever even if it was a short distance. we didn't want to run to attract to much attention. as we walked they asked me what happened and i just showed them the pictures of blood and told them about the homesless person and we went home after that.

I've been there one more time ever since then, but we explored the houses and trailers behind in the woods. that's another story for another time though.

ok, keep in mind, this was a couple years back, that is what was going through my head at the time. I don't think I deserved the sigh. I'm new to this site and I want to share my experience

Okay, I guess the sigh was partially because I had just woken up and was getting ready for work. I can be a real crab-ass at that time of day. Now, I kinda feel bad because you've obviously poured a lot of yourself into this post and your EXTREME excitement is quite evident. I get it. Sometimes, I get really excited too.

However, I only say I 'kinda' feel bad because, no, it was not well written. Your write-up is comprised of a bunch of run on sentences as well as sentences that aren't even complete. Your punctuation is also a nightmare. I can overlook the spelling since you preemptively pointed out that you aren't great at it.

However, those are only the errors in grammar which, of course, aren't a big deal had your story actually been worthwhile. More important than the grammar is the content of your story, which is a bunch of garbage. It sounds like something a 14 year old would come up with, hoping to be included in the next anthology of "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark". So yes, I think the sigh wasn't to be all that unexpected.

Furthermore, in your original post, you had said that this was a story about a recent experience that you had. But now you've changed that to say that this was a couple years ago. So, it already feels as if you are being deceptive, which is not a great way to make an introduction to strangers.

All that aside though, I do apologize for making you feel less than welcome. Of course, I could (and should) have just said nothing. These types of posts tend to be ripped apart on this here forum and I am sorry for being a part of that.

It has since dawned on me that you likely are a youngster who isn't so far removed from the "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark". In which case, your EXTREME excitement is a bit more understandable. As time passes and you get more exploring under your belt, you'll come to understand why four and a half wishy washy paragraphs about a teen party house and a run in with a hobo is kinda laughable...and some might even sigh at it.

For now, my advice to you would be not to hold too much value in what the UER has to say. You're likely to feel less than welcomed here until you gain a bit more experience in your hobby. Find some folks that you have stuff in common with and make experiences that you can cherish together. You'll share a bunch of firsts with your friends and you'll all be super excited about it. But do consider that most folks around here have probably seen something like that a few times before and they may not be quite as excited about it as you were when you were there. Eventually, your experiences will get more unique and your stories more interesting. Word to the wise, we have a lot of empty houses around here and they do get a bit mundane.

All in all, while you obviously know what I think of your story, I didn't have to make you feel bad about it. So, for that I'm sorry. But heads up, some folks on here don't give a shit and they'll tear you apart.

Finally, it is cool to see how excited you are. That enthusiasm can surely take you to some amazing places.

the best thing I can do is learn from my mistakes. and I am far removed from scary stories, at the time, I wasn't that's why I wrote it like I did. English isn't my strong suit either... I can upload any images because apparently it's to big.

Haha! I'm hoping this is mostly a big joke, but i have a feeling it isn't..

This was actually one of my very first spots. The house is pretty boring, but there's some cool stuff in the woods/junkyard.

Anyways..
What happened with the house: No one got paid to move out of it. If that was the case, the house and junkyard would no longer be there, and the land would be redeveloped. When Highway 41 was expanded a while back, dude had to move the house several hundred feet over to make room for the expanded highway. That's the reason behind the old house being on a brand new cement foundation. Well, once it was moved, dude unexpectedly died, and the house has been in limbo ever since.

Also..
- That's the only house. There's a dairy barn and some mobile homes but no other houses.
- You can't stab ghosts.
- That's paint, not blood.
- I highly doubt homeless sleep there. It's too far from any city.
- Ya'll do sound like pussies. Just kidding. Heh.

sure is not! apparently one of the people I work with; there family member owns the house. I don't know how accurate that is. there is a lot of very cool things in the back. I saw a lot of really creepy graffiti art back near the old dairy barn too. there's like kkk members with arrows in there head. and that paint job looks pretty realistic too!

My friend had a dog like that. It wasn't pretty when it happen, but was funny to watch.

Ghosts... ain't no such thing.

relic, Thank you for illuminating the facts Small world.

To the OP, pics impress this bunch a lot more than a story.
Pics with the history, more so.

And I didn't mention Seph Braless... much.
