Gilman and its location are already pretty well known in the community here, and it's an easy find online, so I hope it's not an issue to mention its name specifically.

Went and did a quick run-through of it a few weeks back. I absolutely did NOT do justice to the place; it's a real treasure, and I don't know that photos can really capture it. But I tried anyway! Here are the few that I really liked:

It's certainly not in the best of shape...I should have climbed down to the actual mine site while I was there; not sure when the next time I'll be able to make it out there is.

It was in pretty bad condition, but since that was my first time there, I don't have a frame of reference for how it's been in the past...hopefully it lasts a few more years. Sounds like there are plans to raze the whole town for some reason in the next little while here, but I don't remember where I heard that...?

dam this took me back. as far as it looking bad meaning there is a lot more taggs in there. even more so than my recent visit last year. still a nice set of shots.
