Sometimes when I am bored and have three days off of work, I drive 1200 miles from Houston to Kentucky and back to explore some locations I've been ogling. Three days, thirty sites, each one accessible save two. This is one of the last ones I visited before I had to hightail it straight home in time for work. I got back into town ten minutes before my shift started. Apologies for the repeated subject matter, as I could not decide on a favorite view of the place. Some of the blown-out lights are actually stained glass that I just could not expose properly without bracketing my shots, which I have never done before. Also, if you plan to visit, beware the fleas.

That's a great location; I especially love the organ. I'm not sure how safe I would feel walking on the floor when it has that massive hole in the middle though.

I have day dreams about doing this myself. But I think my wife might kill me if I left her alone for three days. lol Working on her slowly for me to go out to west Texas for a couple of days exploring.

Really got to watch your butt with that floor.

Last one really shows that you get behind your photos.

Great shots as usual man! As I was scrolling down I was thinking, "Oh good a set where I'm not seeing his ass..." Doh! In your defense however if I was 20 years younger I would probably have done the same.

Thank you everyone! This place is incredible, though terribly unsafe. I actually got into the ceiling space and was walking around. Never again.

It was ineffective.

He missed the ideal comments about how big your organ is in the photos, and if you can still blow the pipes. They're a golden opportunity that was was clearly missed.

This place is pretty but all the wood appears to be super wet. Shame, really. A place is always so solid until it has water damage. :/ That's typically the end of most buildings *coughRegencycough*

That is magnificent.

Fantastic location, what a great find! I love the architecture and the colors of everything. Incredible!

I knew you would be on this quickly. As for the place, it was actually super dry when I was there. But I imagine in bad weather this place leaks like a sieve. I really cannot stress the fleas though, especially when I'm getting naked.

Thank you man. I literally bought a wide angle lens for my camera a couple days after getting back from this trip because I wasn't able to capture what I wanted in these pictures. Hopefully I'll be returning in a few weeks to add to this set.
