Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum. I am also new to exploring, although have always had an interest in it. I am looking for places close by to go see. I am about 25 mins north of Boston. The only place I ever went to was Medfield State Hospital, and this was just last Fall. I kept waiting for one of my friends to want to go with me, none would, so I finally went by myself. I posted on my blog about it if you'd like to check it out.

http://grinogirlvp...tate-hospital.html

Now, I am thinking there is one building left to check out at Metropolitan State Hospital in Waltham. What about Fernald ? Templeton ? Worcester State ? Does anyone know if there are buildings to check out at these places ?

Would anyone want to go ?

I am probably considered an "older" female to be doing this stuff. But, I want to go in a take pics and explore !!

The remaining building at Met State is cool to see from the outside but nothing to see inside. There is nothing at Templeton. Please reconsider your rampant namedropping.

lmfao the "rampant namedropping" of places that have been namedropped thousands of times and are old and beat up. tell me again, why do people still think this is UER circa 2004? OP gives about as much away as I would if I said "Danvers State Hospital" ahahaha

tell me about it, I guess people love huge messes if people are getting up in arms over locations practically everybody has been getting into for over a decade.

Worcester has zero original buildings left. The campus is so busy with lots of new buildings on it. The made a monument of the clock tower. They took it apart, replaced the bricks with new ones and reconstructed it, "replicating" the clock tower. *photo is not mine. shared* Published by rozietgarruse https://rozietgarr...ter-massachusetts/
