Four years after visiting this iconic wet-rot home in Ontario, I returned for a 2nd look. This time I brought along a scaly and furry friend. Things have really degraded here - it is now impossible to enter the house with any appropriate 'reasonable risk'.

A little throw-back; here are three photos from a few years ago. Unfortunately the wedding photos that were sitting atop the antique television are now in the basement, and it is impossible to take another photo of the awesome bedroom, as there is no longer a way to get upstairs.

When I first posted these photos in 2012, I was actually contacted by a grand-daughter of this family who wanted to see more. Because she was only in her 20s, I thought she was young enough to not get offended and engaged her in conversation for a day or two. This was near Thanksgiving, and she told me she was going to ask her relatives about the abandoning of the house at the family gathering. She promptly cut communications with me immediately after.

So you brought along your snake just to take pictures of it eating a mouse in front of the house? I applaud your commitment.

OH MY! Bringing the House Down is Quite a site indeed...and that BED! What a Burnt and crispy mess. But, that snake! Oooooh! Guess he's too happy swallowing his furry little meal to care about your snapshot. Very cool closeup!
