With the paint color combo in 6, I'm not sure the room looked any better before the paint started to peel off.

10 years too late.
Stripped, raped, and gutted...
no steam plant pics? Or auditorium?
The operating rooms and the vintage x-ray machine were bitching... and the small morgue.
The copula was fun to climb into but it was marred by a scrapper... which ended with his arrest. Unfortunately that didn't undo the damage he did.
Just not worth the trouble now. -DOA-

Try looking at the photos again without your haughty dismissive cool kid attitude. Looks well worth a trip. #6 is bitchin. It's good to see anything from there.

It definitely a fun place, but blackhawk is right for the most part. This place is beautiful in the spring though.

No worries but having been there in the 2000s I can safely go with my original statement.
I shoot there with permission from the PA State police at one point in 2006 so I saw everything I wanted to without looking over my shoulder.

I met and talked with the smucks that did the half ass gutting and asbestos "abatement". They stripped all the cool stuff and asbestos into 10 yard high tops and it's wasn't marked Hazmat anywhere I saw.
Oops, a ghost waiting to haunt them?

There was a lot of free asbestos throughout the tunnel complex there... just saying.
I wouldn't bother with it because it's just a paint outline of a dead great lady to me. Hell they even hauled off her body.

Yes.

While it's not the same as it was, and it's saddening. It's still a enjoyable time. And the roofs provide a nice chill spot.

Unfortunately the tea candle parties there took their toll.
I still have images of the one arson scene there.
The usual suspects with their names tagged on the walls in magic marker.

I agree, it -was- a great chill spot. At least until those spots start to show up on the lung xrays.
Time will tell who had the most fun there.

To be honest I don't think anyone actually cares who had the most fun there... No reason to be a dick to everyone just because you have a giant ego. You know there is a reason that a bunch of people say you're a dick, and all of your comments in this thread back that up.

I missed out on Pennhurst by a decade, never making it until this year. I had an absolute blast and was one of the more fun things that I have visited in the last couple of years. Don't care that it is very trashed now, was always a place I wanted to see so it was great to finally make the trip.


Anyways, to the OP, glad you got to see it!

I did see it, many times and some of that was with permission before it was completely trashed, vandalized, scrapped, and gutted. I was there when the alarms were still active and the lab, morgue and Dentist rooms were intact.
You have no clue what went on because you got there... too late.
Sorry you missed out on all the relics.

lol that's cool dude glad you got to see it back in the day. I don't care that I "got there... too late" or that I "missed out on all the relics". I had an awesome time there and am glad I got to go. It's not about seeing something before everyone else, its about having fun. You can still have an absolute blast there.

Still doesn't change the fact you have a giant ego and come across as a dick. Always have always will.
