Thanks a lot for the responses, everyone! This place had such a lovely, peaceful feeling to it. Being there felt totally natural, and I must have spent at least three hours there over the course of two visits. In general, this place was probably the single most well-preserved location I've ever visited, and it really inspires me to look closer at some of the vacant houses I see everyday.
Wow, this is cool info. The instrument was so ornate that at first I though it was just some sort of rolltop desk. I was completely blown away when I noticed the pedals and opened the cover! I didn't try to play it, since I was trying to be sneaky as always, but I didn't see anything that would indicate that it's not playable.
