| | | Posted by mustakshaf Just like the title says, whats in your bag? I know some of us may be curious what others bring along with them while exploring, and that topics like what camera, what lens to use, and other things have been talked about, but not the topic as a whole (or so I haven't found yet). My bag: D3100, Tamron 10-24mm f/3.5, Nikon 35mm f/1.8G, respirator, GoPro w/backpack mount, and a nitecore p12 flashlight (which is AWESOME!). Other than that, I just bring along some gloves, lens wipes and remote shutter release. http://i.imgur.com/9QxxNnml.jpg
| What backpack is that? I've been looking for one.

| | | I'm not into photography, really. But pics of my travels are nice to have. On my waist/hip:
Sony Cybershot DSC-RX100M4 in a LowePro Apex 30 AW case Brothers of Bushcraft Fieldcraft Knife Canister of bear spray If I bring a backpack: Camelbak Mule ZebraLight H600w Mk II 18650 XM-L2 Headlamp Neutral White Adventure Medical Kits - Ultralight / Watertight .7 Garmin Oregon 600 GPS unit Marmot Precip jacket & pants (rain shell, packs tiny & light) Leatherman New Wave fire starter, paracord, compass, etc. If nothing else & at all times: flask of whisky (either Laphroaig or Green Spot) But I live in the middle of nowhere, in bear and cougar territory; I bump into them quite often when out & about. Hell, I saw a cougar walking down our driveway a few days ago, and a black bear made a den/hibernated near our house a few winters ago. I also almost got trapped out in the bush when a forest fire started between me and home 2 summers ago. So, ya never know when exploring in the mountains here! Gotta be prepared.
