So outside of exploring abandoned stuff, a part of my day job is to record sound effects for film and TV. On occasion, those two things get to overlap! Went with a good friend and colleague of mine to Big Horn Mine (a very well-known location in the mountains outside of Los Angeles) to record ambiences of the subterranean environment.

Here are a few shots from the excursion. We had the whole place to ourselves since it was in the middle of the week!
