	Wondering where the announcements for local meetups are usually posted. Is it generally NOT advisable to offer to host a meetup if you are new to the community? What are the usual discussions that take place or what is the general purpose other than to meet fellow explorers?

	Just make a post in your regional area with a few possible dates to gauge interest. When you have a few people, switch to a private group to discuss specifics like locations and stuff.
