Obviously not when exploring rooftops or anything, but sometimes it's nice to have a beer in a ghost town. Come on, let's see 'em.

You are doing it wrong! I have no problem cracking open a few cold ones on a rooftop. It completes that feeling of "accomplishment" knowing you are standing on a rare sight for once.

Frequently. I used to get dropped off at my local spot after work with a bottle of Weyerbacher's "Tiny" and some good bud to go with it. Now I mainly only do that at familiar NY spots where things aren't such a big deal.

Used to climb a certain stand pipe water tank with a view a six of Molson.

A lot of Colorado's remaining good stuff is up in the mountains - and if you head up the hill with no beer, you're doing it wrong.

We brought a Left Hand Brewing mixer up with us once on an overnight to a well-known ghost town. We drank them and proceeded to make a beer hike to the only liquor store in Red Cliff the next day, stashed the car again, and hiked back to the town's abandoned underground mill (!) along the RR tracks with a fresh case o' beer for the squad. Gotta stay provisioned in the high country.

Absolutely while exploring rooftops! And abandoned buildings. And caves. And mines. And drains. And sewers. And...

THIS. OH MY GOD, THIS.

You managed to bring it in when it was full, it only gets lighter when it's empty.

And if you bring cans, they crush down, too. (Admittedly, this was harder before they started putting such a variety of good beer in cans.)

Pack your shit out. If it's a building that's already a total shit-hole, sure, whatever, leave them I guess, but I hate seeing caves that used to be really nice turning into a goddamn dump.

I'm not the biggest drinker, but I guess since it's not even illegal anymore in WA, I can admit to smoking a bit of weed on a couple of explores back in the day. I quickly realized rooftops make it somewhat harder due to wind. This was back when it wasn't legal, so it always made me a bit more paranoid <_< >_>

That's a beautiful sight there Edster!!! I started off drinking Coors Banquet and it's still my cheap beer of choice. It's a bit harder to find than Coors Light, especially in the glass bottles.

I could never appreciate light beers. No offense to those that do, but for me it's porters and IPAs or nothing.
