I want to see more! Great shots.

Definitely a factory of sorts. So weird that some factories used this method instead of lockers.

The cages here were for miners to store their clean clothes and valuables while they were at work (a coal mining)

O wow, that is a truly amazing location. It feels like something that would be created for a movie set, amazing that it was functional at one time.

This may seem like a cumbersome and over complicated alternative to normal lockers, but damned if the aesthetic it creates isn't completely awesome.

Shots like yours, which show me something new and completely unexpected, are a major part of why I love this site.

It may seem a complicated alternative, but it was because if someone gets lost down in the mine, his cage was up at the end of the day.

That does make sense! I never thought of that!

Incredible. Makes for gorgeous pictures. I'm used to seeing the lockers and standard hanging hooks for miners clothes.

Every time you read this, I become more powerful.
