~ Wonders of Brick Factory ~

We really did get summer. Birches are starting to get green and you have been able to get out with t-shirt for many days already. And of course, my time is running out really fast, so I've been trying to photograph as much as possible; nature, horses and of course this kind of shit. Again I was thinking: where to go? Brick factory is probably the most obvious answer, but I weren't able and I didn't want to resist. So there I were, bit before 9 at morning...

That feel, when you get closer it through open fields at spring morning when birds sing around you and sky is high above...

I really love that tree. I was thinking should I get inside immediately, but bit later light would be better there, so first I did spent some time at outside.

And again magic of brick factory were there, at the front of my eyes. Old Finnish truck, Kontio Sisu, that I didn't remember at all. Now, I can find really washed-out memory from deep inside my mind that I've seen this before once - on my first trip to there over 10 years ago...

It have been kissed, and that kiss obviously weren't gentle. I will come back to photograph you, and I promise that it won't take as long as it did now.

And more; this is thing that I've seen never before. I actually did ask myself if it would have bring to there just now, but...

...it obviously weren't, as we can see photo below. That place just have so much on it's yard and surrounding forests, that even after who knows how many trips to there it still can offer new things to see. That is really, really, really amazing.

Volvo truck were also trying to get to earth's center:

Winter is gone...

And again; I've been literally photographed at these foot steps before, many times, and still this was first time to spot that go-kart! And again I did think if it would have been bring to there now, but with all that stuff around... it must have happen for long, long time ago.

And then I did enter to brick factory. It looks to be in good condition, but truth is bit else. From this to right part of it have already collapsed, and above second floor's floor were lost few planks. I really don't want to think that day when it is gone...

Stupid selfie time, hell yeah!

Morning light alley I suppose:

I've told this thousand times before (and I've told you million times: do not exaggerate!), but I just love that atmosphere. That silence, deep shadows were light looks extremely beautiful, jackdaws on roofs... and of course that strange feel when you are alone in so big building, that beautiful oblivion. People can get to Thailand or where ever, but I don't need to as long as I can get to brick factory every now and then.

I did think June and working... how much I then miss this freedom and loneliness... and be filled with happiness that I were there at that moment, now.

This part of building I count to new ones; I did find it just few years ago.

"Must re-take" photo from brick alley:

How beautiful can morning light be... and I can tell that this photo doesn't transfer even half of it, in there it was... so much more.

Those "made from clay" details were really nice surprise - I did also find those not farer than few years ago too.

After all it was brick factory. And after 2+ hours my camera did run out of power and I was running out of time. I sure would have like to spent more time there... but there will be always next time with this place, I mean if me or that place won't die. Maybe someday I will be able to sacrifice whole day to it. It would be so nice to see how light moves through the day in those shadows.

-----

And off-topic-bonus-picture shall show that summer really have arrived, and so is my summertime madness. This comes from this morning - I did wake up 4:25 and get on the road to my Paradise. Not perfect morning, but at least better than first one at last week:

That's it. Soon I must start to get ready to evening (which means few beers I suppose). Believe it or not, but The 69 Eyes is gig in my hometown tonight!!! Not bad, not bad...

Great set - I'd like to rewind the clock and see what happened to that first truck.

Yeah, that thing really look like some evil torture machine! I must return to that idea some day, would have been much easier with remote launcher; Now I did have those 10 seconds to get there, which was... quite hard.

Thank you very much! I wish that at tomorrow morning could maybe offer more, or at least I hope so.

I love the black and white truck, great lighting! I'm also digging that hallway that is brick on the floor and both sides with the wood ceiling. I would love to see more places built like that. And I'll echo what MisUnderstood! said about that last photo - it is absolutely gorgeous! Those rays of light coming through the trees are really spectacular.
Cheers from Texas!

Thank you soooo much - nice to have something positive even this day! And you can be sure (this is also synonym to "be warned") that this ain't last set from there... 10 years already, still it is... like I did wrote. And same with my Paradise.

Awesome location!! I love all the old machinery outside. It would likely take me awhile to get inside as well, I would be to busy looking all that stuff over.

I am going to miss your posts once you start work again. Perhaps you will still have time to get out once in awhile?

That really is, it would probably be at my Top-3 list... it offers so much.

And I suppose I will, there is always saturday, or at least few hours of it, at least then when there ain't weather for Paradise. But hey, work will end maybe in 3 or 4 months, so... that's what I'm waiting for (freedom you know).
