I visited the state hospital where it was filmed a week ago and it was secured extraordinarily well. They had literally bricked what I believe were the most popular entrances. Every window and door is covered with thick plywood that have like 20 long nails in them. Probably the work of DCAMM. Anyways, I just wanted to let you guys know. It's a beautiful location to take pictures but it seems impossible to get inside. If anyone does know anything more, I would very interested.

That's unfortunate.. not that I ever believed I'd get there. Still, kudos to those who had a chance to see it before it was secured!

The town owns and is responsible for the property now and DCAMM no longer has ties with the site. There have been a lot of problems with vandalism up there so they now cinderblock the entrances. Site has regular police patrols and private security as well as daily maintenance

It's well worth going even if you accept from the outset that you won't get into any bewwdins. They're all boring and sterile inside anyway.

I agree 100 percent, out of all the buildings I think there were two that I felt I hadn't wasted my time going into. Otherwise its a very enjoyable experience for exteriors.

I do really like those photos, nice shots. Like I said tho, 2 of the buildings were really nice. Maybe 3, but with the way they patrol there so much it was testy for what was in most. Id think you could at least still get in the very back fence building. It was quite big and no road in the back really. But I havent been there in quite a long time so who knows.

I've spent a lot time there between hanging out, working there, and volunteering on site. I think there are 5 or 6 really cool buildings and another 5 that are ok, then the rest are very blahhhh.

Security and police do occasional patrols around the entire back building (Building R) and they recently sealed the fences so you can't really get to the building.

Entire campus is mothballed now for the most part, almost every window has been red boarded now. Four buildings have been demolished and another four are coming down in the near future. We are working on getting the Chapel/Auditorium cleaned up later this year and possibly opened for tours next year.

I had found one spot that would be a possible entry point into one of the many buildings but it was in a very visible area that the security guards regularly patrol so we decided not to enter but it was such a beautiful campus and very interesting to see and just explore the grounds.

It won't last. The town checks for entrances daily
