First time using my camera, first time using premiere, but I like how it turned out! Definitely places to improve, but here it is.

Effects > distort > warp stabiliser

Bang silky smooth

Also with panning shots, chuck ya camera on a tripod, extend and spread the legs fully then hold the centre and pan like that by hand - it will stab mostly stable and look very smooth

Good on you for using premiere on your first video, it's a pretty scary program at times

Thanks a bunch for the tips! I'm going out this weekend and will try the tripod out. Basically I'm opening it completely and holding it upside down? So then gravity and the weight from the legs will stabilize the image, what about focusing?

It was kinda frustrating, Adobe afters effects was worse though.

Nah not upside down, either like this or holding the middle stem and keeping the camera upright like the legs will be spread around your arm like this

Videos are tough to do but you've made a great start!

Generally speaking I think the video demonstrated that you have a good eye. I'll give you props for not doing what so many explorer/videographers do which is use the camera like a flashlight. You understand the importance of slowing things down and taking smooth shots. And I love that track. I also shoot video and I've considered using it in projects myself

Judging by your style, I think you would make good use of a device called an "Igus Slider". Basically you mount your camera on a track and slide it smoothly along for perfect tracking shots:

Check out eBay for a used one. Or there are lots of online tutorials for how to make your own if you're handy. Longer = better.

Great job for a first video. Much better than mine was. Also love the music i've always wanted to use that in a video.
