This place has been locked up tight for a while but it is now open again! Also happy to announce the tower that leads to roof is now open. This place is somewhat preserved compared to a lot of places in the area (the top floor is the only floor with spray paint for whatever reason), and there is plenty of abandoned medical equipment still.

Haven't seen this place in a while -- I remember there being like a booth thing in one room that was sound proof, it was very claustrophobic being inside

Yeah that was my favorite find! Though i was too scared of somehow locking myself inside.

I remember moving the x-ray equipment you see there mounted on the wall, and it leaked fluid on me. Ew.

That place definitely has seen better days. When my friends and I were there (years ago, damn)...I have some of the same shots, here's some random ones in addition from back then. It seems like there's more water damage and a lot more damage/tagging.

One of the few places I figured I didn't care to go to the roof in, but nice

Hey, I got a lot of messages about this one after the first post, and I let you all know security is never really a problem with this one. Using this reply to update you all that security actually asked us to a leave today. They were nice, just calmly telling us that we need a permit to go anywhere past the sidewalk, but it was still surprising. Also consider this a 'missing dog' poster of sorts for my rainbow-colored knife I accidentally left on a exam table. Welp.

That sucks. Also, does this site have a lost and found? Or would that be a horrible idea, letting everyone know exactly where you lost something (so they could go grab it)? The only thing I have ever lost (and not going back to look for it) was at Neverland. Rest in Peace, headlamp. *cues In the Arms of the Angel*

I was going to say, security actually has been a problem for this location over the years. The parking lot across the street is the actual parking lot for their security guard 'fleet' and it is best entered with at least one lookout making sure no one is coming down the road.

Then, there's that added (alleged) progblem that SWAT or whichever agency uses the building for practice. That would be so much fun to encounter. I can't be sure if the story of someone being inside while a SWAT van pulled up outside was true or not, but there are targets in pitch dark closets, so use your own thoughts.

Pretty much any of the buildings (there's a pretty cool but very open entry building nearby you can get into, too) have this issue with security, but that's why a group of three is my perfect number if I do anything.

The guard even wrote down our license plate, hehe. This area is definitely a gold mine, though we noticed that they have done a pretty good job @ sealing most of the buildings recently. I've never ran into SWAT but we did almost just enter a popular East Bay spot that we realized was being used to train canine units. I'd rather not be used as a test dummy for the German Shepherds.

We ended up going to a place down the street while an event was happening in the neighborhood, I think the security was preoccupied with the event to notice us carrying all our camera gear down the road
