Thermal Fibers and a lesson to not use fisheye attachments

Thermafiber was a nasty-ass insulation factory near the Birmingham Airport. This place is now long demolished. The demo ceased at some silo building which hung around for a while later. Not sure if anything is left today.

Just prior to this explore I bought a poor mans fisheye... one of those super cheap attachments that screws into the filter threads on ones DSLR lens. I knew it would suck, but I didn't realize how bad it would suck. Due to the novelty, I proceeded to shoot most of that morning with this attachment. I never used it again. The photos were mostly ruined... distorted, out of focus, light glares, yuck. My attempt to make them work was to overprocess them and make them look extra shitty. Someone tell me if I should just delete them from the internet. If for some reason you want to see more, check the Flickr Album. This place was mid-demolition when we were there:

They never did demolish all the buildings, the building with the lockers is still there as is the silo. There really isn't anything interesting to see here that can't be seen elsewhere in Birmingham though.

I kind of like the cheapness and distortion, Asbestos Button and 7632 are great.

I don't know. I kind of like how they turned out.
