Abandoned in 2011, so very recent - also well secured against vandals and right in the middle of a populated area. Would've been basically impossible to photograph without the help of the mayor's office.

Very cool spot, and nice job pulling some strings to get in. A friend of mine got in a school in Vermont in a similar fashion. Seems folks are s little more receptive out there.

Truly some amazing shots! Sometimes it's easier going thru what may seem like the harder channels. Some are more accepting when they know that a true urbexer is someone who enjoys the beauty in something lost in time!

Excellent shots. I love the mix of color and B&W in some of them and the top down shot of the basketball hoop is on "point" haha. Pretty cool of the mayors office to give you access. I would like to try something similar at a well watched school in a tiny NY town. Unfortunately I don't think they even have a town office.

Glad everyone's liking the pictures. I was basically undamaged inside, although there was some water damage on the top floor where the roof had leaked, and some vandals did smash up a banister in the gym and a bunch of windows.
