Howdy Ya'll, This is my first time posting on this here forum. So if i'm doing anything against the rules please do tell me. I'm trying to follow them as best as i can. I discovered urban Exploration several weeks ago when i was looking for unique places to hike to in my area. Thus I discovered my newest hobby. For my first post I would like to show everyone my night time adventure to a very well known UE location. Exploring this location was super sketchy as part of it has been turned into a casino, so there was security all over. Also the tower we climbed was around 230 feet high according to the info I found online. While we were climbing (we were climbing without flashlights, as to not be see) my friend stepped through one of the landings dew to the incredible rust. Needless to say, that put us in a very cautious mood. There was also steps that had been taken out, so we had to climb without stairs. The view from the top was incredible! It was worth all the danger! Anyway, without further rambling here are some pictures. Sorry about the bad quality, I only took my gopro. I wish now I would have taken My Canon rebel, but I wanted to go in very conspicuously!

1.

Here is the view from the bottom. It looks super cool lit up with the red lights!

This is on the middle level that connects the 4 tall stacks. I would say its around 60 feet off the ground.

3.
Mission Accomplished. Such a great feeling! The view is Incredible.

2.

Going all the way to the very top. 230 feet up or so! what a rush.

Nice!!!

It's sketchy as hell in there. Years ago I distinctly recall reading the tale of an explorer who tried to do the exact same thing as you, but he fell through one of those rusty spots on a platform onto a pipe that was (luckily) about 10 feet below him. But he still got pretty messed up. So do be careful in there!

Definitely a ballsy explore, kudos on that... but I don't recommend this site to anyone now.

Got lucky once... lol, steel never breaks your fall, just your bones!
Ummm, exploring this place in the dark with no flashlights is a death wish. It was dangerous 10 years ago even in daylight. There's not just rusted out 1/4 inch plate decking but holes big enough to drive a car through. It gives new definitions to the term hellholes.

-Never- play on steel.
If you fall, expect to break bones.
