I take photos with my phone so quality isn't amazing. This is an abandoned house. The previous owner is gone, and didn't have a spouse or children. Some of the interesting stuff inside. It was really ransacked but still had the original decor/clothes/etc.

Wonder what's on the tape recorder? Do you know how long has its been abandoned? Sort of a sad place.
Thanks for sharing

I didn't even notice it had tape on it until I was home looking at the pictures. I'll have to go back and see if I can get it to play.
The last tax payment was in 2008, the owner was in their early 90s so I'm assuming they died. I can't find their death record though, so maybe they are living it up in Hawaii or something. It's a little out of town so there's no signs of needles/squatters other than the general disarray. There was tons of stuff, but I didn't want to flood this with a million pictures of broken things. Everything was right out of the 70s which is always fun.

A little history of the site makes it more interesting. They maybe in a nursing home.
Keep posting and reading threads. When you get your FM and full access, you'll find UER to be even more interesting. There are a lot of nice people here too

Nice first posting of your pics. I too wonder whats on the tape recorder, and find all the numbers on the blackboard of interest. Looks like a strange jumbled mess of phone numbers and names. Did you look in the box freezer?

This was my most recent house. It's a 4 bedroom 2 bath with basement.
The blackboard was really weird. It's some phone numbers and names, some randomness.
There were 3-4 different freezer boxes. Most were full of vintage food, garbage, and junky stuff, I didn't look in one of them that was behind some debris. I'll have to do some climbing and check that one out too next visit. Hopefully that's not where the owner is.

Cool looking secluded place. That moss-covered car is great!

It's so interesting seeing things left behind when places are abandoned. I love this set! I agree, the moss looks super cool. I especially love when the earth starts "eating" things that have been abandoned and vines start to grow and whatnot
