Took my east coast road trip early, decided to go to NY to check out this rather iconic place. Currently in Philly now, will be leaving sunday, so if anyone wants to explore let me know. Here we go:

Some nice shots in that set. The place looks HUGE! Must have taken a while to see the whole thing. I noticed that the roof is missing in one spot. Were you able to make up to that part and if so did you get a shot of the sky framed by the jagged roof?

thank you sir, the place was insanely massive. I only explored 5 or so buildings on the campus and that didnt include the largest one which is featured in a few shots. The part with the missing roof section is a breezeway connecting one building to two others. Unfortunately I didn't get a shot of the framed sky, I wish I did

Great shots, some of the best I've seen from here. Apparently there is an increased security/police presence around the park now after something like three separate fires in three days in the largest building.

It was my first time there so I'm unsure if they have upped it. We were basically followed by park workers in their large green truck. They didn't say anything to us but kept an eye on us after they saw us exiting a gate. But at the end of our day there about 7 kids probably all 15 and under got on a roof and started making a lot of noise and no one showed up for that.

Awesome photos, I absolutely love this place. #10 makes me wish I had gotten up to that roof.

Mooks is correct, they have been taking the latest rash of fires very seriously. Only a matter of time before talks of demolition start up again.

Nice shots though.

Great shots! Was #4 taken from the power building? I took a very similar shot when I was there a few years ago. We were short on time and only got into the power building and building 93. I hope to return at some point.

Yes #4 was from there. It was my first time there and I'm definitely happy I got to see the property and how massive it all is.

Nice.. classic spot. Good shots. There has been a string of fires lately.. hence the roof. Dumb kids. How long are you in Philly?
