This place caught my eye last week while out for a ride, so I went back yesterday with my camera gear. Once spring is in full swing, I think the vegetation hides it from the road pretty well. I'm at a loss as to the purpose or history of the building.

I love seeing nature consuming what's becoming a burned out shithole. Living in southeast Texas it never ceases to amaze me how quickly places can become completely taken over without the intervention of man.

This set reminds me of what the rest of the country will look like should a certain individual win the election...

I know... At first I thought it was being used as a teen party-house, but it's pretty much all trash, not the beer can - liquor bottle - soda bottle mix normally seen in those. Also, not the lack of graffiti. The trash has to have been there quite a while, as there was no smell and no insects. I wonder if someone had been squatting there at some point?

I can think of a few candidates, from either party, that i fear would send us into the shithole spiral...
