OK here is Part Two of my recent thread seeing as I think people liked the selections from before. This is getting into the older parts of my adventures now so the photography may not be quite as polished as the more recent ones.

Shipton-on-Cherwell Cement Works - One of my old local haunts, but it took me nearly three years to make the effort to explore it on a beautiful sunny spring day. It closed way back in the 1980s and was mostly demolished in the 1990s before the quarry it was situated in was designated a site of special scientific interest due to the presence of rare plants. From that day onwards demolition was halted until it was finally completely flattened in 2014, the chimney stack being the last structure to fall.

RDB Interiors - One of those places with so little info floating around it's impossible to tell what they once did, and I only knew the name from finding an old packing crate with the company name and address stamped on it inside the overgrown factory.

GEC Siemens Lighting - Another one with very limited information to be found. It was once an old GEC facility but was converted into a number of smaller industrial units after closure. The first time I tried this place I discovered that the land around the outside was used as an overflow car park for a nearby football stadium on match days and as such had numerous yellow-jacketed security men floating around. So I went back when it wasn't a match day and let myself in ;)

Witton Waterworks - On the other side of the river that runs past the GEC factory stands an old waterworks, which was a rare solo explore for me after my companion had injured his ankle in a previous explore. So off I trotted alone on a freezing cold day and spent about 45 minutes wandering around on my own. I found one of the tunnels that fed under the river but then realised it was badly flooded where it met the groundwater level so very quickly backed off. The stairs up the tallest part had been cut away also which made getting up there on my own an adventure.

Pen Makers - One of those places that has just been absolutely destroyed by taggers. It's situated in a rough area of one of the UK's largest cities which hasn't helped matters either and became something of a drug den for users to shoot up in. It also lacks a lot of the roof which made my visit on a rainy December day even more miserable!

Repsol Oil Depot - This was my 100th explore ever, and is now demolished. Nothing much to say really other than it was a group of old oil storage tanks slowly rusting away and it was pretty fun to climb all over them.

This magnificence warms my scrotum.

"Will you compromise and then realize the price is too much to pay?" "Winners and losers... which one will you be today?"

If this gallery was posted anonymously, I wouldn't know that it was by you. And I've actually come to a point where I can, in fact, associate your photos to you at a glance. I think that is just fantastic when you can look back and see a formidable progression in your own work. You'd never notice it as it creeps along month by month.
