This is my first real attempt at photography.
Before I jump into the pics, a small bit of clarification. I meant to post this set at some point last week, but schoolwork got in the way and I'm only just now getting time to post it. Oh well, better late than never.

On Feb. 21, in preparation for a photography elective at my school, I managed to convince my father to drive me down to Medfield State. Yes, I don't have my drivers license yet, but he was happy to help if it meant practice for an upcoming class. So, down south we went, and soon enough, we were there. Weather was pretty nice. Overcast with a slight breeze, but temps. stayed in the mid-50's, making for an overall comfortable day. However, a
lot of people were on the grounds, so trying to get into any of the buildings was out of the question, but it was nice to see that people are interested in the property and its history.
If I ever make it out here again before redevelopment begins, I'll have to attempt to get inside at least one of the buildings, but for now, I'll just have to admire them from the outside and hope that they will be preserved.
Anyway, onto the pics! (These are just my favorites. The rest, including some taken by my dad, are here:
