Henryton Footage?

Hey everyone,

As you may or may not have known, I've been working on a UE/preservation documentary for the past few years.

Well, I'm happy to say that editing is going fairly well and I'm hoping to be done by spring/summer (most likely summer at this point).

Anyway, I'm looking specifically for any HD footage from Henryton that anyone might be willing to donate for the feature film. Most of the footage we have is in SD, which is unfortunate.

You can PM me if you are interested.

I'm more than happy to give credit if any of your footage is used.

Thanks!

That place was my first explore and what got me into exploring to begin with. I miss it so much. RIP

Let me know when you're done with your vid. Would love to check that out

Legitimate question - Was Henryton worth exploring? Everyone I've talked to said it was gutted and trashed to shit (I'm not still pissed for exploring it when I had the chance lol)

It was always worth it. It was the place everyone knew and everyone had been to, but there was still something special, and always something new to see. Unfortunately I had 40-50 minutes worth of walk through video, but it was all deleted when I deleted the email address associated with the youtube. I have a 25 sec clip and 43 sec clip if your interested.

I would say it was at least once... it definitely was different than most other explores I have done.

Very wide open and a complete free for all. You could pretty much walk around there and do whatever you wanted without worry about being busted by anyone.

Until 2005 or so it was actually untouched, no vandalism or graffiti anywhere.

Yeah, that's what I heard. I was there probably a few years after it started going to shit.
