Great shots!! Looks like my kind of place. Hopefully the public attention towards it does not mean it will get all tagged up and stripped for scrap.

...that's definitely what a couple of us are worried about since it's been off the radar for so long!

We finally made it out here after knowing about it for what seems like FOREVER. But, when folks starting blasting information out for the world to see, we figured we ought to get there soon before it gets destroyed and/or sealed like a couple of other places recently...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news (and I might have already mentioned this to Tiffers), but this property was purchased by a private San Antonio-based company that intends on basically legally scrapping the hell out of this place over the next two years for its parts until there's little or nothing left and dumping the rest. This was told to me firsthand, exactly one week prior to Tiffers' visit, by a local, off-duty police officer who was moonlighting as security for the aforementioned private company. So, the source is pretty valid.

Whoa, I guess this one was a thumbnail or something. Sorry for the shitty resolution!

The Douglas portrait is awesome, BTW! The fact he's a dinosaur makes it awesome in its own right, but I really, really like the bokeh in that shot, great DOF!

This is a really great set, as usual.

Thank you, lady! We didn't see a single police officer/person while we there, so were thankful for that, for sure!
