Over the past month or so, my schedule has become much busier, leaving hardly any time for exploring. Fortunately, I was able to find some free time and hit up an old industrial location in Canton. It was 13 degrees outside so we tried to be a bit quicker than usual but still ended up spending over an hour inside. We dodged some holes in the floor in one room and a few collapsed ceilings. We saw a few cats wandering around. We saved the tower for last and I ended up forgetting my flashlight at the top and having to run back inside to grab it just as we were about to leave.
Built in 1896, this complex was originally used to manufacture dental equipment. In later years, a number of businesses utilized specific portions of the complex. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. Sometime between 2004 and 2011, the building was vacated. It was damaged in an arson fire in October 2011. Recently, it was purchased by Canton's land reutilization committee with plans to demolish the entire complex in favor of a new industrial park.

4. One long, dark room along the road was filled with random boxes, motorcycle seats and a couple pieces of an ATV. This room had several large holes in the floor.
