Took a friend draining with me tonight for the 5th anniversary of my first drain. (Not a football fan)
Needless to say, she has now come to the dark side. She goes by Nikon and you guys will be seeing from her soon.

It was actually a Great Blue Heron. I used to never see (large) animals underground. So far in the last few weeks however, things have been getting interesting. We even had a large buck walk right up on us as well. That one freaked me out a bit.

Wow that's crazy, that wouldn't be a fun situation if he had been acting aggressive. I've only heard of fish or alligators being in drains, never birds or deer lol

Valentine's Day was the craziest animal run in I've had yet. Bobcats in drains, no bueno.
