Took a trip recently to a NY state psych hospital and got some pictures of the big hospital building and the rec center.

For some reason my camera was being a real pain in the ass on this shoot - I think the on-board light meter was acting up since it kept over-exposing in conditions it normally wouldn't have a problem with and I had to stop it down to adjust - but not all the time! Made for a very frustrating experience, but I got some decent shots all the same.

Stellar pics, just love #2! I have had similar problems with metering at one time to find out I had left it on spot metering, vs matrx which I normal use.

Your photo's are all amazing! You exploring around my region makes me excited to get out there and see what I can find

Hmmm... I'll have to check that. I've accidentally switched the settings climbing around in the past.

Very nice work. I've been there 4 times and never saw that theater in 11. I didn't know the rec center had a theater.

Thanks. Yeah, it's off to the side on the wing opposite the one that has the pool and basketball courts in it.

It's a cool place, but bring a tripod for the shot because the lighting is terrible.

Can confirm, I've shot that damn auditorium at least a half dozen times and never got a single shot I liked from it.

I generally don't look through documents much, so I didn't notice anything in particular.
