It was a cold January afternoon, so a cold industrial location seemed quite fitting. We headed out to this location with no information to go on other than the Google Maps overhead view, no street view due to it's location. The industrial look of it very much intrigued me. Being surrounded by mostly businesses and other vacant properties made it dead quiet on a Sunday.
From what little information I could find it seems this complex was used as a power plant. Tesla
may have had some involvement with this place. Not out of the question as he was known to work in this area quite a bit and even had a workshop here.
Possibly someone that knows more than me can shed some light on the machinery housed within these buildings.
Where is the welcome mat?
