It was a cold January afternoon, so a cold industrial location seemed quite fitting. We headed out to this location with no information to go on other than the Google Maps overhead view, no street view due to it's location. The industrial look of it very much intrigued me. Being surrounded by mostly businesses and other vacant properties made it dead quiet on a Sunday.

From what little information I could find it seems this complex was used as a power plant. Tesla may have had some involvement with this place. Not out of the question as he was known to work in this area quite a bit and even had a workshop here.

Possibly someone that knows more than me can shed some light on the machinery housed within these buildings.

Haha no shit! Small world! We missed each other by literally 6 days. I was actually up in your neck of the woods Saturday, I was in Toronto for the A State of Trance 750 show. Unfortunately didn't get any exploring in while I was there. It was a tight squeeze to get to where the vehicles were. PM me if you want more specific info.

Thanks man! I'm sure someone with more knowledge of this vintage of industrial will chime in. I had never seen machines like these before. The shape and way they were lined up reminded me of freight train engines.

The trucks were in a separate room, sealed off from the rest of the complex except for a small spot to squeeze through. This area looks like it was or is used by the town highway department. Some sort of backup storage garage.

Thanks! They are my favorite as well. Chemical manufacturing is possible. It's been hard to find any information on the place. I could not find any business name on or in the building. I can't find a exact address either since these buildings are part of a larger complex, some of which is still in use.
