Just an opening shot to (hopefully) suck you in...

Into the Mouth of Madness
by Ground State Photos, on Flickr

I binge watched 'Making a Murderer' over the last two weeks, and every time the opening credits rolled and showed the snowy shots of the half-abandoned property, I found myself reminded of this unvisited southern Ontario location. A snowstorm this week gave the perfect cover for approaching this location with some limited visibility between myself and the neighbours.

It is a very similar rural automotive shop and yard, hidden down a short country lane, in a very small Ontario town. This business closed in 1996. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately) there is no known interesting back story to this location.

Thats one UGLY fish, lol. Really like 3 because you can visibly see the snow flakes falling or being blown in from the wind. Cool B&White with a touch of Red wiring for good measure 16 is my fave.

Nice work with the photos!

When i first glanced at the title, i was worried for a second that this was a set actually from the Avery salvage yard. It's ridiculous how many people are apparently showing up there, just to see it in person and bothering the Averys.
I watched it all the way through, but what a stupid documentary.. Completely one-sided.
Avery was a creep, and even though things seem sketchy in the evidence and such, i believe he actually did the deed and is exactly where he ought to be.
Brendan, on the other hand, i'm not quite sure.. He was definitely treated and questioned unfairly, but i have a feeling he actually did take part in some aspect of it.

Wow!! Absolutely kick ass shots! 3 and 15 are probably my favorites here. I could look through all of these over and over again, really great work!
